The academic-research journal "Sport Psychology" of Shahid Beheshti University has been awarded the top “A” ranking in the 2024 evaluation of academic journals by Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
According to the university's public relations office, the journal is published by the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Health Promotion and has been operating since 2016 (1395 in the Persian calendar) with a license from the Ministry's Commission for Academic Journals. Its mission is to advance knowledge in the field of sport psychology and to promote high-quality scientific research in this domain.
The Sport Psychology journal is a biannual publication, prioritizing innovative articles that demonstrate strong topical and conceptual alignment with the specialized field of sport psychology.
The journal strictly adheres to international standards of scientific integrity, actively combating misconduct such as data fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism. All suspicious activities are investigated in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
